Service Centered on our Community

Friday Chores

Each Friday students clean up their school by completing assigned chores like vacuuming.  It is a service to the church we rent from and our school.

Gifts for Grandparents

September's chapel service is centered on our grandparents which includes a special gift made by their grand kids.

Sharing Our Voices

Our students share their vocal talents to those in the nursing home as well as other groups in the community.

Gifts for Our Pastors

October is Pastor Appreciation Month and we show our pastors we LOVE them by making them special gifts.

Raking Leaves

November is the perfect time to get out and rake leaves in the community.  We rake leaves for those who are unable to do so.

Canning Turkey

We head up to Freeman to help can turkey which is shipped all over the world to provide good quality  food for those who are in need.

A Special Thank You

The day before our Thanksgiving break the students and staff make a special meal for extra special people in our lives.

Christmas Program

Each Christmas, MVCA students use their acting and musical gifts to present the Christmas story in a fun and entertaining way.

Autumn Winds Friends

Every two weeks MVCA students visit Autumn Winds in Yankton and enjoy an afternoon with their friends there.  Crafts, games, and singing are enjoyed by all.

Music in the Community

We share our voices at The Center in Yankton right before Christmas singing traditional Christmas songs about the birth of Christ.

We LOVE to Cook & Bake

What better way to learn about fractions and measurement!  Plus, we get to share our delicious products with those in the community and special guests.

Unplanned Service

Sometimes we find ourselves serving others without planning it!   Our students picked up garbage after a weekend event in Yankton.
