Each Friday students clean up their school by completing assigned chores like vacuuming. It is a service to the church we rent from and our school.
September's chapel service is centered on our grandparents which includes a special gift made by their grand kids.
Our students share their vocal talents to those in the nursing home as well as other groups in the community.
October is Pastor Appreciation Month and we show our pastors we LOVE them by making them special gifts.
November is the perfect time to get out and rake leaves in the community. We rake leaves for those who are unable to do so.
We head up to Freeman to help can turkey which is shipped all over the world to provide good quality food for those who are in need.
The day before our Thanksgiving break the students and staff make a special meal for extra special people in our lives.
Each Christmas, MVCA students use their acting and musical gifts to present the Christmas story in a fun and entertaining way.
Every two weeks MVCA students visit Autumn Winds in Yankton and enjoy an afternoon with their friends there. Crafts, games, and singing are enjoyed by all.
We share our voices at The Center in Yankton right before Christmas singing traditional Christmas songs about the birth of Christ.
What better way to learn about fractions and measurement! Plus, we get to share our delicious products with those in the community and special guests.
